The Web 2.0 is not without its critics. Expressions such as the cult of the amateur and the eruption of the untalented speakers are uncommon. Author Andrew Keen contends that the Web 2.0 is, in reality, a hodgepodge of untalented grouping wasting our instance as substantially as their own instance attempting to look creative or smart when they are not. In a July 18, 2007 Wall Street Journal debate with added Web 2.0 author, David Weinberger, he stated that, Yes, the grouping hit finally spoken. In addition, spoken makes the Web 2.0 speaker. With the emergence of the Web 2.0 and the rise of liberated media, there is a loss of objectivity and truth of mainstream media, according to Keen, which he describes in his book, Cult of the Amateur. This aggregation was written in response to this artifact toward massive publishing of those without credentials or true expertise using the Web 2.0. When everyone claims to be an author, there will be no art, no reliable information, and no audience. From his perspective, the Web offers more of everything, but such abundance is leading directly to intellectual poverty. In the Wall Street Journal article, Keen further argues that patch we springy in a geezer hood of more, there is actually less talent.
