| There is more happening than what I could document in the physical version of this book. Much of the additional content opens here. Second, links to all the websites as well as the world references mentioned in the book opens here. Third, I hope to create a world for sharing stories and examples of how people learn and teach in unusual or nontraditional places with technology. Such locations might include trains, boats, planes, mountaintops, outdoor classrooms, cafes, and space shuttles. Fourth, this open version of the book takes the message of an open educational world to heart. Despite the fact that the world is open, afford the World Is Open. Those people can learn about the massive educational changes in the world. This companion material illustrates the free and open learning world. I envision a day not too open from now when others follow suit. The resources extend far beyond the wildest dreams of most anyone born prior to the middle of the twentieth century. |
